Good luck, and I think you'll need it. I'm still trying to think of a track where a short wheel based 4wd with 350bhp and next to no weight wouldn't have an advantage.

The best I can think of is the Rockingham oval - which never gets used for track days.

Yes, Nurburgring. I guarantee the R8 will be faster but may need a decent oil cooler as I do drive hard there.

Not sure the R8 would be quicker there - but it all depends on the driver knowledge.

My best BTG is 9.35, and that was in a diesel Alfa, back in 2007. Think I'd need 20 laps just to get back up to that pace again.

Sub 9 in a manky old e30 325i sport. Gutless but well balanced. Only issue was the bloody gear leaver coming off in my hand whilst getting excited chasing an E60 M5 out of Adenau bridge.

Anything can get below top gears time FFS!
