Few pics of the VXR8 at Weston Park,

Well the car got it`s first show since a looong winters messing around, wasn`t sure on a few things, but seeing it in a descent setting, and getting some feedback as made my mind up on a few things. These cars attracts so much attention at car shows!
But anyway, It`s not gonna get lowered, stance looks just fine, I think the graphics actually make it look lower, and controversially, the spoiler is staying off.

There was an HSV lip spoiler on ebay last week - right colour too! It didn't sell for too much, if you want to try and track it down.

Too late on the spoiler, but cheers for the shout, I`ll keep my eyes peeled for another, or just get the holes filled at some point.
The graphics are two stripes along the bottom of the doors, and also the boot, not seen on the pics. The same vinyl was used to wrap the front grill, and the wheels were refurbished a few weeks back in the same colour, dark anthracite, or at least very close.
The front fogs is another trick of the camera, they have actually been removed and replaced with two inlet ducts (body coloured), the passenger one feeds the cone filter in the front wing, the drivers is a dummy. The fogs have been replaced with 4 high intensity LED`s that sit in the cone. From any kind of distance they just look like blacked out lights.
As far as I am aware, from what research I`ve found, the spoiler serves no functional purpose, purely cosmetic. It might add a touch of drag at high speed, but not any down-force, certainly not at the speeds it will usually get driven at.
