I am not too convinced about the Hot earthing thing. I will need to probe around with a millimetre before having a go myself. I have read the mag and 5kw variation on two dyno runs is not a huge amount.

Ive read about this type of thing on a few forums, covering many cars.

While some gains are claimed, they tend to be in cars that already have poor wiring or earthing, but even then gains are very small, and I think many of them could be imagination.

But if you have some time, it can do no harm.

I did such a thing on my Subaru Legacy. Cant say I noticed any difference at all.

There was a big debate about this on LS1.com.au. Quite amusing to read.

I fall into the disbeliever camp. There appears to be no logical explanation has to how it works. A change in ambient air temp etc will give 5 Kw change.

I won't be doing this. Put the cash to HP tuners!!
