Just a quick update.....................

I have spoken to LSV and they confirmed that they will be at the cafe with a Monaro and Supercharged HSV GTS...........WRC will be there with at least one UTE and maybe Two (hope it is the Twin Turbo one!!!!).............EE-Sport will be there with the race car and driver's + details on the new tuning/servicing range...........

I have high hopes of Stu Harris being there with a 2005 Monaro as well.......

The Car park at the Ace holds about 50 cars and I think we are upto about 35-40 + the retailers so space is getting tight! so arrive in good time to get a spot outside the Cafe.............

Rob, be sure to phone me re: the Australia Shop.
I'm still going, no worries, but the timing is critical
bearing in mind how many are attending The Ace.
My 'phone number's on your own e mail address

How do, Rob.

Happy New Year to you and all the HSV folk.

Been emailing the Fabulous Fordies about the event so there may well be a few (very few) there so say hello to the owners and make them welcome.

Not sure about the summer, and events, but I will keep in touch.

All the best
Sandy

Here is a link to the carpark plan for the Ace Cafe..... www.hsvdriversclub.co.uk/acecafe-plan.pdf

As you will see there is room for 32 (maybe 35) cars inside the Ace carpark!

So it will be a first come first served deal on the day, but there is lots more room outside the on the road.....

I have looked at the people who have said they are coming and alocated some rough areas but nothing is set in stone................

G'day all,

I will be coming along as well, sadly without any suitable vehicle, but it will be great to see so many Holdens/HSV's together here in the UK..

Some good news though, the Sainsburys around the corner from me in Manchester (Middleton) sells Bundy Rum for £16 a bottle. If anyone wants me to grab them any, let me know as they are way cheaper than Selfridges.

Look forward to having a chat with you all on the 23rd.

Adrian..

G'Day Adrian,

Be good to meet you mate & talk about Holdens, I'll be the one with the EH.

Thanks for the info about the Bundy Rum, I will look in our local store for it, if I can't get it then I will ask you to get one for me.

Regards,
Rob.
Finally back in the UK. Any room for my Clubsport? Eric will be keen to meet up for the drive.
Des, we are travelling the day before (Saturday morning) and staying at the hotel near the Ace Cafe.

Do you fancy an overnighter. See earlier post in this thread.

Give me a ring for details if you fancy going across on Saturday!

Matt, can't make the Saturday, but he is travelling on Sunday, so all is not lost for a touring buddy!

Cheers

Eric

Here is the NEW Ace Cafe layout.............

The new layout is due to "Stu Harris" now bringing two Monaro's (VXR and V8) and a possible bottle neck around the cafe entrance.
