There's no tow front toe eye point on the Commodore. Its says in the manual to connect to the holes in both front chassis legs, but surly that would that be a disaster, firstly my car is too low for that and even if you manage connect it up it would rip off the front bumper once the tension is taken up. what do you do if the car needs to be recovered from the the roadside? I find it a bit worrying.

Someone (I can't remember who, sorry) had a rather nifty tow hook fabricated. It was a screw hole welded to the chassis leg and poking out from the lower grill. It was very neat and discrete. The idea being that when it is needed, all you had to do was screw in a tow hook.

Can just remove the bumper as well. It's a very simple and quick job to do. Can get mine off in about 5 minutes on the Monaro. It only requires a philips screw driver.

When mine has been towed, they always do it from the rear axel, as mine is also very low at the front.
