Sending this dealer e-mails will be a waste of time, he'll just hit the delete button !
Go sit out side the dealer ship every day you can and inform any potential customers of the problem you're having with them is one way, just make sure you are off their property and only inform punters of your own issues !!
The other is to spread the word by Face Book which will reach loads very quick, a post in General Gassing is worth a shot as well.
Good luck Nost, I certainly wouldn't be very calm in this situation !!

How can a dealer sell a car and claim to have no money and want to pay in instalments. dealer is a tosser
In the same the <stty bank> took a good few grand off me, and despite wanting to invest in safe long term growth, within weeks I had lost over 70% as they invested into housing and mortgages, interestingly their own and we now how their books were. Suspect they did this to many people to try and fill the void as investments go up as well as down just not within months to such an extentguy sees car he can sell, sells it to fill pay his debts for another months survival knowing as a ltd co he can fk Nos over
OMG I can't believe this what a bunch of gits
This poor chap has lost his car to these unscrupulous s, how can this happen
This company needs sorting
Brake fluid comes to mind
Don't know how the owner of Brutus can be so cool about this, absolutely discussing company
A forum meet is required I think in support

Well he IS a busy boy, isn't he?
Had no idea this was even possible, let alone somehow legal. I really hope it's sorted out, sounds like an absolute nightmare, cannot imagine.

Evening folks!
Thanks for all your kind words of support and Brian for publicising.
Soon as we smelt a rat we went on that website to look at accounts and find a home address. Sadly those figures are from a year ago and it seems he no longer lives at the house.
I have to be personally carefully how I proceed in the sense that I'm a deputy head at a secondary school. Anything with a whiff of me doing something illegal to force his hand and it could be bye bye career!

Pound to a pinch of st the car was sold for a lot less than £19000. (IMO)
Expensive lesson, he has lost his car, very sorry for that, but unlikely to get satisfaction unless he lowers himself to the level of said dealer, in some way. We all have these lessons in life and at least he wont ever do it again, if that's a positive out of the story?
I wouldn't trust a car dealer (any car dealer, at whatever end of the spectrum) as far as I could throw one.

I don't wish to sound defensive but it's not as dramatic as this. I know for a fact that they turned away someone who was willing to pay£20k for it. He legally owes me the money and if he can afford to pay I can press the issue using legal means. This isn't a pop up company - it's been going for years, sells around 20 cars a month but might have hit the skids and he's running scared.Expensive lesson, he has lost his car, very sorry for that, but unlikely to get satisfaction unless he lowers himself to the level of said dealer, in some way. It sounds like you've done your research on the company, but I thought I would bring to your attention the 4 CCJs against the company, which total over £90k. Two of which are very recent (the last few months). This is very unusual! I say this as an advisor to the company secretarial team of an accountancy/insolvency firm I work for. I wish you all the best in your quest to get your money. Get the right advisors around you to pursue this.
The only main comments I'll make on the accounts are that the 'creditors due after more than one year' are substantial. However, there doesnt appear to be any mortgage charges filed against the company. This suggests the company has no secured creditors. Usually a part of the 'creditors due in less than one year' sum is a directors loan account balance (ie: money due to the director(s) ). However, you will note that the disclosure in the last note shows that the director OWED the company money. It is difficult to make any more assumptions due to the abbreviated nature of the accounts filed at Conpanies House. However, it does show cash at bank of over £260k.
(All these accounts figures are as at 31 August 2013).

You need to get the wheels in motion cause if the company is going down the pan and there is money to pay out to creditors you need to be on the list to stand any chance.
A similar thing happened to me 5 years ago when I paid for an item only to find the shop closed down a week later with no sign of my item.
I managed to find his home address via Companies House and paid him a visit along with a few friends of fine... money was in my account the next day.
I'm sorry to hear about this its sad there are people out there willing to do this to others, hope you get this resolved quickly.
