Rolling Road Results
Discussion
For a bit of fun I have created a centralised resource for recording the results of any and all RR results you may have. This is a totally non-scientific analysis of what certain modifications MAY achieve and in no way should be used to complain to manufacturers/dyno operators.
Please use one line per result, recording what modifications were present at the time of the test.

Good plan.
But no not allow people to enter dyno results from any other dyno than SRR otherwise you sheet will become useless.
Also only accept rwhp numbers from SRR again for the same reason.
Thats my advice
cant see an issue with adding both rw and fly hp?But no not allow people to enter dyno results from any other dyno than SRR otherwise you sheet will become useless.

but must have rwhp.

That was why I added the RR column at the end, so that different dynos can be differentiated. Plus, it is a bit unfair to expect people to only go to SRR when it could be quite a trek for them. Will also be a good comparison of dynos if someone runs the same setup at two different ones. But no not allow people to enter dyno results from any other dyno than SRR otherwise you sheet will become useless.

Yes this would be good for those of us who would like to see more rigour and objectivity in the tuning arena.
I note Blue666UK has a near stock 04 CV8 - the K & N won't make much difference - so this would be an opportunity to verify the Wortec "wonder" remap:
http://www.monkfishperformance.co.uk/wortec-essent...
After the session Blue666UK please get this done and then we can see how much better it is in a latter Surry session, plus your subjective assessment.
On the face of it 21% mid range torque increase from just a remap seams to good to be true but Monkfish strongly defend it, though their website no longer shows the graph, reproduced below.
I have an 05 for which a quantified remap is not available. Maybe some one will turn up with one at Surry.

Anyone else have historic runs they can record on here? Added in fwhp as that was all I had for the beemer.
How do you want us to record historic details? I've popped in an extra line, for last year - though you may want to create other pages for it instead? Some here have has previous models, and some are greedy and have more than one at a time.Ineligible, but here's what I got on the PowerStation (Tewkesbury) dyno - think it was Wortec sport pac, although I don't recall if I had the OTR back then. Probably not. I post this because it's a common setup. PowerStation's dyno is notorious for slightly low WHP (something to do with dual rollers apparently...), but is meant to be pretty accurate at the flywheel FWIW. There was a lot of discussion when I originally posted this, so not looking to get sucked into a debate...

You might as well say 'if the results weren't done at the same time (i.e run concurrently) then that sudden burst of sunshine may have raised the ambient and effected my result
That statement confuses me Jez - how else would you do before and after testing?

Well in the case of an FI build, a summer result would have a fair chance of being less than a winter result due to heat. You might as well say 'if the results weren't done at the same time (i.e run concurrently) then that sudden burst of sunshine may have raised the ambient and effected my result

Air temperature, density humidity etc. all factors that can have a bearing on the results. Whilst these are considered, it isn't an exact science.
Even gearing can make a difference.
I bet if you took your car in and ran it every day for a month there would be a spread of results.
And yes it's that critical, look to racing to see how much difference an atmospheric variation can make.
Whilst it's only a small percentage it could easily wipe off or add enough horsepower to make a significant difference.
