Dvd player

I have the sat nav option with the "dvd" player to play the sat nav cd in the glove box, except it doesn't play dvds? But it says "dvd" on the player. Has anyone had any luck with this? I just get a error, can't remember what it said but it was something about no sat nav inserted.

Video DVDs are/were regional

DVD Digital Versatile Disc ie can be loaded with any data.

A DVD 'player' may not have a Scooby Doo what video is but will be happy to 'play' maps.

Or it could be broked, or I could be wrong.

Its just the sat nav in the glovebox, it says DVD as the discs need to be DVD'd to hold the required amount of data.

The optional (Walkinshaw) DVD player is in the roof lining for the rear passengers & front seats, when parked unless you get the VIM module.

It reads DVD data discs, it may not had the hardware or software to play DVD films. There are updates so you can use the central screen but not using the existing DVD player

Gary has some dedicated DVD players in his but even they don't play DVD's - don't want to mention build quality again but....
