Does your System have Finishing tips..?
Moving these by as little as an inch in or out can make a surprising difference in Resonance
Very much so. My current exhaust has finishing tips, and in their original position they were sticking out from the bumper. Drone at 70 was awful, but the car popped and banged nicely on demand.Moving these by as little as an inch in or out can make a surprising difference in Resonance
Moved the tips flush to the bumper, and drone was gone, but the pops and bangs were reduced significantly too. You can't win them all...

The Pacemaker I've decided to sell and have a buyer lined up, although if this does fall through (unlikely) you can have second dibs (although I'm in Kent so a bit of a trek for you).
No chance of the sale falling through - I'm looking forward to trying out the new exhaust too much! Rather looking forward to hearing your loud and offensive setup at some point too

I do think with all these new exhausts about, we really should have a bit of a meet up in the not too distant.........
What with mine, Vince, Codswallop all in Kent with recent pipes, and Araf, 007 etc don't normally need much of an excuse to have a get together
Happy to do a meet at mine any sunday morning ?What with mine, Vince, Codswallop all in Kent with recent pipes, and Araf, 007 etc don't normally need much of an excuse to have a get together

Just the 'F' word for me, and I'll be there. What with mine, Vince, Codswallop all in Kent with recent pipes, and Araf, 007 etc don't normally need much of an excuse to have a get together
I've had a couple of people e-mailing me about cutouts, and I never managed to get a good sound clip of ours, so another reason for the meet.

A Sunday morning sounds good to me, although the next couple are busy for me.

I have the wortec on my 5.7 vxr. Have just fitted the noisy pipes which while sounding amazing I don't think I can live with as the drone at 2000rpm is liable to give permanent hearing damage. However the silenced pipes or quiet are very nice and usable daily without drone. You get a nice burble and the pops and bangs on overrun but it's not too shouty unlike the noisy pipes which are pure nascar.
After 300 miles and just after a weeks usage I can't handle the noisy pipes and the ensuring headache so I am back to the quiet system and can now enjoy my car againCodswallop said:

8th March...???
Good for me.Can Goldy wait that long to show off his new runabout?
We also really need to start planning a few more meets in locations other than 007's place so his car can get some more miles under the wheels
