I came very very close to hitting the bid button, but i mustn't! To many cars/projects, even though i have a vision for it.

Be interesting to see where the price ends!

Yeah, know what you mean... well who knows, could be a scam, and probably won't sell it in the end. Be interesting to know the history of it that is for sure. Anyhow, could end up the proud owner of yet another holden, then again, might not. Mine turns up finally in 5 sleeps time!

More details on this ute. The guy wants to sell it because he is moving out of the country. Although, he wants 7000 for it, so not such a bargin.

Anyhow, he has a Maloo for sale, 2002 with 15,000km on it. Let me know if anyone is interested and will post details. He wants 25k for it.

He might want 7K, but as he's not posted a reserve and he has a bid (from you)and less than 24 hrs to end of auction, legally he has to sell it to you (or whoever is the highest bidder) for the bid amount at close of auction.

What he wants is not relavant. Whether he will hounor his end of the deal remains to be seen.

Ah, went up to 5600, but not going to go any higher now though. I'm out of the race..

Would have been nice though... but mine is here in a couple of sleeps. EH*ROB will have to come down for a beer at the walkabout.

Yeah, no worries rob, will let you know, haven't been to the walkabout at Southampton yet..but know the manager there. £1.50 tooheys here we come.

Would be good to have a get together down here. Definitely in June/July for the multicultural festival, would be good to have a couple of holden's at the Australian tent.

Would have been nice to have the ute as a run around, but starting to get a little high in price. Good luck to him, atleast it will be keep here. Would love to buy the maloo, but at £12k per seat, would want to have a trolley service and free drinks. Mind you, would be nice to have.

Yeah, £1.50 for staff... Pretty good deal, any drink for me is £1.50. Can get pretty wasted, think that I pretty much spend the money I make there working on drinking during the week. I only work a max of about three shifts a week. Mind you when the car gets here, will have to cut back to softdrink.

The Multicultural festival is on in June/July, was working at the beer tent for walkabout last year, and it was awesome. Know the organisers here, and they would definitely love to have the cars there. Anyhow, will let people know closer to the time. I will probably have to travel down for the weekend, as contract is up here in 3 months... YAH!!! So hopefully will be moving to something a bit more exciting.

Sean, yeah, would be definitely nice to have. £25k is a bucket load of cash. Mind you, you could put alot of chicks in the back of it.. Umm, ok, buggar the chicks, just make it beer..

EH*ROB, well yeah, where do you find a woman like that, who would buy you a ute!!! Umm, could be his Mrs too... Or a bloke who wears dresses.. Pitty I don't know any Pamela's. Must say though, very supprised that it sold that quickly and for the price that it did.

Anyhow, got all the insurance sorted out on my car, so all happy. Think that Adrian Flux seem to have lost their edge a bit, or someone has crashed their car and not admitting it.. Pick mine up on Thursday, so pretty happy about that. Sean if your interested in coming for a hoon, let me know. I am sure that I can strap some cans of baked beans to the engine block to make it a 6 litre, and hook up the laptop in the car so that you can play V8 Supercars II so that you can get the sound of the V8. <- awesome game if anyone hasn't played it. Although bathurst isn't terribly realistic.

G'day Rob
Yeah there's a Walkabout in Pompey, right opposite the Guildhall and two minutes from the station if you wanted to leave the car at home. There's also an Aussie bar in Southsea called The Outback. Has Tooheys
Crown, VB, and Carlton Cold. I would be interested. I think the landlord is Aus too.
Let me know when mate.
