Hello all,

I got back from OZ in September and finally made the decision to buy a Maloo ute and sell my car..coz i need the carrying space !

can any 1 help ???

Cheapest option would be to get someone to buy it for you back home, they keep it for 6 months, come over for a visit, and register it, and change the registration in 12 months time. No VAT no Duty.

Not many Maloo in the uk yet.

You could always get a SS ute as a few friends have on this forum. Then for a few quid (and I mean a few) put some bits on and do some tuning.

Mark at Midshires 4x4 in Wolverhampton has a brand new SS UTE in black in the showroom. It's an auto with leather etc and he can get it through SVA.Give him a call. If you want a Maloo he can get one, although they are not cheap. Give him a call - 01902 790217 and say Matt sent you.

There is a guy that i know who has a maloo for sale. 2002, with 15,000km, (think that was right), for 25k pounds. He is in Cambridge. Let me know if you want me to post details.

would the real owner need to prove he stayed in the UK for 12 months?
