Looking for one for the above. Any one got a good used one? I think its the same as the 04 Monaro without the rad cap. Been quoted £300 +VAT for a new GM version.

Can find lots of non-OEM ones on Ebay OZ. Would have to check the ads and the sellers to get the right one as some are V6 some are manual some auto etc. Looks like you can get some with Alloy sides.
Holmart have some non OEM ones too for about $150 and another $150 to deliver so $AUD300 which is about £20 in UK pounds!
There are some on Rockauto to, but not sure on the orientation of the sides if the US is the same or not with the Pontiac GTO.
I did look at PWR but they were $$$$.

I spoke with Brett (speed4u) a couple of months ago to check if he had a good used LS1 radiator for my Monaro but he had none at the time.

Monkfish didn't have any OEM radiators in stock either, so I ended up getting the Mishimoto for similar money to the OEM one. Think it was the last one Monkfish had in stock though, so importing something may be your best bet whatever you decide to get (unless Monkfish have got more stock in).

Mishimoto have a UK office, may be worth checking with them if they have any as the website doesn't say stock status

Would this VZ Holden Commodore item (from the same vendor) for auto and manual transmissions be OK for '05 Monaros?

Could the auto trans fluid ports be used for the power steering fluid when the OEM cooler rots? Or would PS fluid run too hot from the heat transfer of the engine coolant?

Thats for a VZ so will be wrong. No rad cap on a VX so similar to 04 Monaro. I like the idea of having alloy tanks because it is the plastic side tank which has split.
