Charlie had an open roller day for all-comers and as the Ute usually gets run at this time of the year, I thought it would be rude not to take him up on it.

October 2013 - base run - 286 hp

October 2014 - CAI and VXR8 standard exhaust - 323 hp

November 2014 - Cam and DOD delete fitted - 385 hp

November 2017 - 1 7/8 headers, decat, 3" system - 401 hp

My goal was 400 at the wheels so I'm more than happy that we have reached that goal.

Many thanks to Monkfish Performance for getting us so close and to Ringram for selling us the final part of the jigsaw (his Pacemaker exhaust), earlier in the year.

Next year, the Ute deserves a spruce up as it's 7 years old now.....

If you know anyone who wants a Pacemaker Big bore system like the one you bought, I might know where there is another one.

redface What's the matter with them? Has Ringram sold me a dud? hehe

You could try John Culver on Facebook, once he finally gets his VF Ute IVA'd.

I looked at that and NOS but decided it's a lot of expense for one day a year.

The VF is slightly shorter (as it finishes before the bumper) but 4 x 75mm (I think) exhaust finishers bring it to the correct length. smile

If it is the same as Ringram's old one that I bought then it will be 1 7/8 headers, 3" decat pipes, 3" X pipe and 3" rear boxes.

As for price, you'll have to see what Gareth wants for it. Difficult to find another system over here but then the market for selling a system is very small too.

I've offered him the system for what I paid for it.

Certainly sonds good. Maybe you could get in on the group buy that Isaac is sorting on PH. You could have 2" headers then. smile

I was offered a good price , just don’t have the money to buy one at the mo , but i’m sure it would have sounded very good , i will have to start saving again , i’m running too many cars which is leaving me too little for mods

Nothing wrong. I just decided I'm not modifying the VF. Its staying as it is. (Apart from taking the limiter off for Autobahns that's is)
