Autovaux. I believe that they get the parts through a dealer approved for the Holden/HSV parts.

No torsen should ever clunk or make any noise.
Its because the internal spline on the centre is overly large on the application, so the stub shafts are too slack. The Wavetrac unit is spot on - as you would expect.
Realistically though, day to day we're talking an improvement in the clunking off the line and low speed gear changes, which I assume also brings some slight longevity improvements, but not much else? (Aside from obviously the wavetrac is better if you're frequently fully lit up with one wheel off the ground, as all Monaro drivers are)

I remember you mentioning the diff issues when you took me out in your car a while back John.

I'm sure Stu and the boys will get it sorted. All the best smile

Ah, the brakes are pretty easy to work on as I remember it. The XKR is going well thanks, in fact it does everything too well. I kind of miss the 'character' of my old Monaro hehe

I picked up my Monaro from AAS today, having had a Wavetrac and a Pedders diff insert fitted. My Monaro now drives like a different car, and no more clunking and clanking around town.
So a big thankyou to Stuart and his team for sorting out this long standing issue I've had with my car. I would highly recommend a Wavetrc and especially AAS to fit it.

The LH window mouldings (92093580) are still available. I got some last week for £80 each. They were showing 16 more in the UK at the time. The RH (92093578) aren’t available anywhere (including Aus and US) as far as I can tell. Looking at the part it should be possible to make a close enough approximation of the RH part from a LH part.

Just thought I'd bump this and update.
I was lucky enough to be able to buy 2 new LHS trims last year and I've just got round to modifying one of them to fit the driver's door. It can be done, very simple actually and once fitted I'd say its 95% perfect, you have to look to see the 5% 'not quite' in fact I'd say 9/10 people wouldn't spot a thing. Certainly much better than a tired old original.
Unfortunately the LH trim is also now showing obsolete, but occasionally these gems do pop up on eBay so you can buy with confidence if needed.
