Bookmarked. I’m only 15 mins from that Premier Inn, have yet to meet any other Monaro/R8 weirdos, so I’ll do what I can to come along too if you’ll have me smile

No it’s not at all. Likewise I’m looking to meeting a few people and going more meets / cruises

So are you lot in an actual car club? Like are there other meets, merchandise etc?

Not a club, no merch.
The annual National Meet get together used to be July or August and had around 15 to 25 Monaros and VXR8s coming from all over the UK every year. Including a fine female driver running a twin turbo VXR Monaro and carried 2 or 3 full size jerry cans of V-Power! She knew how to use it!

This forum was the source for organising it. Apparently Facebook hosts some HSV owners.

Separately, the Scottish Pistonheads forum used to organise several runs that I went to around Scotland every year with plenty Porsche, BMW and similar stuff turning out including an occasional Aberdonian Atom and Nobles, etc. That morphed to TartanTarmac.com but has gone quiet. I don't know if they run through Facebook, I'm not on Facebook.

Tracked this across from the VXR8/Monaro owners club on FB, so apologies that I'm late to the party! rolleyes

I live near Loch Lomond, so not far at all and I'm well up for coming along!

I'm away for a couple of weeks and when I get back my Monaro is going in (on the 19th) for a long overdue repair (and some upgrades...) for a few days but SHOULD be back from the garage by midweek, ready for the weekend!
