At ACA on Sat 25th. They don't come up very often, so I'll be interested to see what it fetches.

I thought only LS2 had twin exhaust exits (?) but DVLA has it down as a 5.7 litre; so thread title may be wrong but I can't change it... rolleyes

Guide price is £7500 - £8500:

The driver's side of the car is three different shades of silver.

The front wing definitely is but I'd only say 2 shades maybe smile Perhaps just the door has been replaced / painted?

Needs to be seen 'in the flesh' I suppose to be sure.

Only done 400 miles since its MoT pass last November, after faulty parking brakes was rectified it seems.

Small issue I know, but it looks like the brake fluid reservoir lid is missing?
Certainly looks like at least 2 shades of colour.

It's different colours from every angle. The front wing is miles out and the door is out to the rear panels. I'm not convinced the other door is the same colour either.

The dangers of old cars and silver.

Good point. Seem like an ambitious guide price then.....

That’s a facelift cv8 so still 5.7 Ls1
Surely the estimate is a little high for one of these at auction...

As Phil said, facelift CV8 so 5.7 LS1 engine, and also single large exhaust tip on each side. So all correct.

VW learnt that the harlequin paint scheme didnt work, clearly the owner of this car disagreed.

You blind ? Clearly it has two tips.
I love how everybody judges the paint from some poor quality phone pictures.

No he isnt blind, it is clearly a facelifted compromised CV8. It still has single tip pipes but one on either side which shows it is a face lift, along with the updated front bumper. As for the paint, if you're respraying you do the whole side otherwise even poor quality photos show that money was skimped upon the repair.

Er, that's what he said, one each side.

Those photos were taken by the auctioneers themselves (that's the grounds of the hotel nearby), not some quick camera snaps by the seller.

How is a facelift CV8 compromised?

Ah yes OK, I would agree with that one, boot space is a pain but so is trying to get someone into the back seat ( voluntarily as opposed to an abduction of course ).....but it is manageable....just

The speed the front seats open could make abductions a struggle
