It looks like we've won a reprieve. HSV owners and appreciators may not be the most numerous, but we are undoubtedly the type of car enthusiasts that PistonHeads is supposed to represent and provide for. To buy a gas-guzzling muscle car in a country with rediculous petrol, insurance and depreciation costs - you have to be committed (you can take that in either way that it sounds). If we all bought TVRs then nobody would turn up for work in the Winter and the AA would be over-stretched.

It's been reinstated. Just didn't want to have it sitting there idle that's all (the forum, not your car).

Well, at least you have a page! There must be a fair few people on here with 'S' Audi's and not a sniff of a specific page. Not fair!!

Bloody Hell! 4 posts in one day is that a record for the HSV section? Phil, did you get my second E mail as it's not telling me my end.... and careful on the digs about TVRs as I've had 4 of them myself! Bought the HSV 'cos it was the closest thing to a TVR in the way it drove that had 4doors/seats........mmmmm but it has proved more reliable as well.

Andy there are a few places around London that specialise in American cars. Anywhere that works on Corvettes knows our engines and gearboxes. Drive shafts and diffs etc seem universal. Pads and discs etc can be bought on-line at capa.com.au
