Time for a service and just realised my book is full. Anyone know if it's possible to get another one?

Can’t help with a newey, but all I’ve done is divide one of the following blank pages into three and get the servicing garage to record the mileage, what service it was then stamp and date it.

IMO proper service paperwork and invoices are far more important than the very limited service book.
Still, if you feel you need one, plenty of generic books are available...

I haven’t got one stamp in mine. Seemed little point once I started modifying it. What I do have is a massive pile of invoices which I’m too scared to ever add up!

A few years ago I asked Vaxhall for a new service book, believe it or not I thought they might be free. If nothing else they may encourage people to keep a main dealer service history.
Anyway it cost around £20-25.......and then they had to order one....I just walked out........as usual.
Anyway, I keep all my receipts in a folder ( which is worryingly massive ) and I've got around 10 sheets of A4 paper on which I write everything down with the dates and parts fitted. Its easy and quite good for keeping track of everything.

As some of you may know, I'm on my second Monaro now, and regards the service books, I've noticed a difference.

My first car, a VZ, came with a (what looked like) generic Vauxhall service book, albeit with a Monaro silhouette on the front. It had spaces for only 8 proper service stamps, then further on in the book, there were smaller spaces for a further 12 stamps iirc.

My current car, a V2 SIII has a Holden marked booklet with 16 proper service spaces, then a another 16 smaller spaces further back. Weird.

Maybe it's the Aussie version and they expect their cars to last longer?

Never got a service book with mine, just a pile of receipts.

The garage which looks after the car for me recently gave me a generic book stamped up with all the work I’ve had done with them over the years which is nice to have though.
