More On the paint flaking sarga! Little support please..

Hiya guys,

So ive spoken to my nearest Monaro approved dealer (Slaters in Colwyn Bay which is 40miles away!) And they were very helpful. However, it would appear as my car was registered in June last year it is now over 1 year old and that area of the car may not be warrantied?

So i was wondering, how many other monaro owners have the same issue with the paint flaking of the door handles? I know ive heard a few of you mention it before in other threads and in my most recent one, but exactly how many are there?

Further more did any of you get this after 1 year old? or before?

Vauxhall havent said No yet, this might end up being done as jesture of good will, but the dealer involved is going to look on this site so this will add weight to my claim!

Funny that. I've just been into my local Monaro dealer for this very thing. They have made a report and are sending it off to Vauxhall to see if it waranttied. The chap at the garage was quite concerned that the paint should be flaking like this already. My car was registered April 04, so I may be in the same boat as you! Hopefully Vauxhall will agree that this defect should be covered and come up with a solution. Does anyone else have this problem??

i have had mine done its 54 plate 1 month ago they all come with 3 year warenty on the so stick them out have a look in the bottom of your fog lights mine where rusty .

It is at least 3 years down here, 1 year sounds very odd???
