I saw this at a show today. I knew they existed but I've never seen one.

It is basically an AWD Monaro. Based on the HSV GTO with a modified version of the AWD system from the Holden Adventra. Note the tacked on fender flairs - needed because the AWD system meant a wider track.

To clear the AWD it used the LS1, and ended up with less power than the GTO. It was also heavier, which meant it was slower.

Most sources say they built 134, with 20 of those going to NZ, however nobody seems to really know.

Hi, thanks for this post.
I was aware of the Coupe 4.
In the late 2000 noughties, a guy in the UK created a tribute Coupe 4 in yellow with the OEM wheel arch extensions. The only thing missing was the 4 x wheel drive.

I did not even know they existed , it's a shame they are de tuned possibly preserving the 4 wheel drive system , sounds like the old calibra turbos where the transfer box was weak , but a monaro tuned if it could be , with a 4 wheel drive system what a hoot that would be

You mean HarryOZ ? His had a coupe 4 bodykit but it was a normal Monaro underneath, albeit a TT LS7 with 1000hp. Wonder what happened to it?

As for the C4. The transfer box was only rated to something like 300hp, bit rubbish really.

That's the fella, thanks for the reminder.
I'd forgotten about the 1000hp, one of a handful of twin turbo conversions.
