Try scrolling back to Thursday August 4th under the heading 'Wortec exhaust video clip' and look in Boosters contribution. Worth a listen and a look...again and again and...etc Make sure to turn the sound up on the PC!!

Yep sounds mighty fine, as does Brian's and Jagsy's.

On almost every car I have had I have scrapped the stock system and replaced it with a FULL stainless sytem. The most incredible sound I have ever heard was from my Lister XJS with a full Tubi system on it. God it was scarey. but that was on a 5ltr V12.

So is the Wortec system upgradable to replace the cats as well??

You can replace the cats on the Wortec system if u wish, but would really suggest u listen to it in the flesh. The recording online does begin to reproduce the sound. The mic was only on one side of the car!!

Again you can specify 100 or 200 cell cats.

Question,

Looking at the Wortek website, the system for the 6.0L VXR has two variations. The red "track car" has the oval pipes and the black car on the ramp is different.

Or is it a trick of the light??

The red car has oval pipes which have now been refined to look even better. The dark car is a CV8 which have a different exhaust with twin round exits to fit the rear valance cut outs.

Yep loud and clear. I like the look of the oval pipes. Am half sold! But must get down there one of these Saturdays and have a look up close!

Have been told today that by adding a different exhaust sytem to the VXR, this would definately make the warranty void. Personally I cannot see how this would affect the car. All cars I have owned, apart from the M3, have had the stock system changed as soon as I took ownership and never has the warranty been void as a result.

Naturally if I were to opt for SS headers as part of the exhaust upgrade I could understand it affecting the warranty, but from the cats -----> back, I fail to see why it would make ay difference.
