Has anyone got any piccies of the Monaro at the Tuner GP on the drift section?? as I'd like to see some pics of it in action.

Mr Vauxhaul loaned me a VXR for some demo drift runs :bounce: which I duly did & oh boy was that thing fun  It took me about 3 goes at the corner to get it sussed apologies about the £50k spin :smash:

Despite the diff being a bit.... well.... err... not very up for it. lovely lift off oversteer :cloud9: great dollops of torque, nice steering & a fantastic soundtrack  Going by the tyre smoke in the rear view mirror & the cheers from the crowd it looked quite good from where I was sat. Oh yeah & Sorry about the handbrake not working after I borrowed it

Dear Mr Vauxhaul.... any chance of a loaner for next years Drift Champs..... :D

Ahhha haaa one wheel drive

A decent diff would have that car tamed, mind you I think the later runs I figured a way round the one wheel drive issue

The diff can be a little reluctant to work properly until it has had a decent work out. Changing the diff oil makes a huge difference as well.

Pity none of the Monaros entered in the Tuner GP never showed. Would have been nice to see it take a few surprised scalps.

Hi,

I was down at the Tuner GP and I would like to thank you all for making me feel so welcome - particular thanks to the guy in the Silver car pictured who let me sit in it and ran through a few things with me - 28 mpg I was smiling all the way home. So I think you guys did a very good job in talking me into getting one - I mean - who needs a mortgage anyway!
