Have my standard bits for sale following various upgrades:

Standard Brake system, calipers, discs (spare front discs with surface damage but not warped) pads hardly worn.

Standard suspension kit

Cat back Performance exhaust originally offered by Vauxhall as a approved upgrade. Big single round exit each side. Much better sound than standard, but not as 'anti-social' or neighbour upsetting as my new one.

Standard twin exit exhausts from cat back, never been on the car apart from importing into UK.

Obviously open to any existing VXR owners as spares on damage replacement but I believe some of the standard kit on the VXR is offered as performance upgrades on the CV8.

Anyone interested please let me know.

Thanks

Malc

Yes the VXR 6.0 and 5.7 (regardless of year) is interchangeable and is an upgrade over stock CV8

Yep, VXR is basically an HSV GTO standard brakes are 330mm front and 315mm rear. Shocks and springs are also uprated, so these will be good bolt on upgrades for either year CV8.

Would the Monaro (CV8 or VXR) Braking system (Disks & Calipers) fit the Commodore? MCD Has beaten me to it on this occasion but if anyone else is about to have their brakes upgraded I'd be interested in your Disks,Calipers, & Pads as my front disks have warped. TIA

Malc, this could go on forever mate.
You probably need to set some prices so people can judge whether to express interest or not.

How much for the sussies?

I have a complete set of original brakes from my '04 CV8 Monaro if you're interested - front and rear discs, callipers and pads. They've done about 5k miles before I upgraded to APs all round. If you're interested e-mail me at paulandrewfelton(AT)hotmail.com

Fair point. Was waiting for a bit of guidance from people in the know on prices. dont want to try turn this into ebay but been suggested start at £500 for suspension and similar amounts for the exhausts. Had plenty of interest in the brakes at sensible money. Not sure yet if they actually sold.

Not gonna start a bidding war so first firm offer at acceptable price on each item secures it.

Cheers

Malc
