Ross, what sort of Monaro do you have? CV8 or VXR and what year?

Welcome to the forum, incidentally I hope you'll find it as friendly and informative as I have.

Edited to add - I have the Wortec 410bhp upgrade ('04 CV8) and echo the above sentiments about Wortec enhancements - awesome is not too strong a word. The car totally ROCKS!

How different is the Wortech exhaust to the full system from headers back supplied by Linden? Are they both Capa items??

Im sure the Linden one on mine is Capa?

I have Linden/CAPA headers but modified the original exhaust via Top Gear in Basingstoke, exhaust fettling £400 (no cats, no mufflers & an incy wincy little tail box.

When I go legal it will be with Wortec

Part of me wants to answer with, Buy my old one for £500 quid, its the Vauxhall supplied upgrade and sounds much better than standard.

However, the fact that Ive swapped it for a Wortec one (and remap) and love it to bits probably says it all.....

Welcome to the forum by the way, great bunch of guys on here.

Wortec too..simply awesome. I now know how hard it has to be drizzling before putting the window up. Had an SL55AMG driver in Bristol say to me 'it did not sound like that on Top Gear! Bloody awesome better than my car...I did not have the heart to tell him pretty much as fast as well for a third of the cost.

From what I have seen, the DiFillipo exhausts from Australia would be my preference. Not sure if there are any UK stockists or suppliers though ?

May be wortec can help with dunc having the 3" headers&exhaust from
difillipo on his . But the wortec one sounds the best and is brill on mine. And a lot better than the L*V YOU JUST HAVE READ TOP GEAR.

Chaps,

A few questions....

- Approx how much is the Wortec exhaust (fitted) and a remap?
- Approx how much extra BHP does this give a 2005 CV8?
- How much extra have your insurance co's charged for the pleasure?
- Big Nige, how come I haven't bumped into around Sarfend yet so I can hear what yours sounds like...

Cheers,

Neil

I picked my CV8 up 2 weeks ago with the Wortec re-map and cat back exhaust and it just sounds the dogs wotsits, can't recommend it enough!!
It's a superb bit of kit, i am told ,although not tested it gives around 410 BHP.
