Piccies! especially the spectacular Blue Mountains and those mutant meals...you could live for a week on one of them!

Policeman thought we were bonkers stopping him in Macdonalds just to take a picture of his vehicle! Had a laugh as he said he couldn't get his partner beside him to smile for the photo!
I have only just recently seen another one at the local police station! pretty rare beast, a Crewman panelvan.
Good to meet you Richard, Lynne and Dan.

No doubt you'll want us to start your threads with 'g'day mate'
Love those pics, haven't done the Blue Mountains but went to Byron Bay,(too many hippies and VW campers) and went down the path from the lighthouse to the very tip of Eastern Aus. Stopped off at Brunswick Heads too, a few Ks down the road towards Qld. Nice.At Tweed Heads you can stand with one foot in NSW and one in QLD.When you've got your feet under the table, take Lyn and Dan dolphin watching at Port Stephens, that's up your neck of the woods. You go out on a charter boat and have a meal on board. It's a great experience.
We also had a go at 'boom netting' where you lay in a net being towed along behind the boat.
If you're into aircraft,Williamstown and Nowra RAAF bases are up that way too.
Did you do the V8 Supercar Experience at Eastern Creek? Details on their web site.
Going down there March 10 - 23., three nights MLB,4 in Syd and 4 in Cairns. Can't wait!
good luck...er...mate

Hehe u'll be moving out roughly same time as me jagsy (please nice ppl in the DIMIA) except i'll be moving just north of Brisbane to Narangba with a lovely HSV Dealer (Zupps) a short drive away in Aspley so if anyone needs a truck/diesel mechanic in the Brisbane region i'm open to job offers
Byron bay is nice, i'm back out there again @ xmas to see my gf & spend a few days @ Brunswick Heads & this time i'm hoping i don't see a brown snake coming towards me @ night when we're having an "intimate" moment on the beach... put me right off!!

Bunda
get in touch with the agencies that deal with mining - I was talking to diesel mechanics who have good jobs in the mines. Mean been away for a week or so at at time but big $$$.

I have some agency names if you need them.

i've been offered a job up @ Mackay plus a few truck firms in Toowoomba are interested but they won't do anything till the DIMIA get their ass into gear & grant my visa, i've had my police & medical checks i'm just waiting on the final yes or no & i have bitten my nails to my elbow waiting but i think the whole of Oz is pretty pissed off @ the mo it's been a bad sporting weekend for them so anyone from the UK/NZ is banned from getting a visa
