Might be an off chance, but is anyone around the portsmouth area got a set of old pads, that might have a little bit of life in it? Looking for the front right hand side outer brake pad.

There are a few golden rules I always use when it comes to brakes.

1. Only ever fit new pads or disks to your car.
2. If you fit new disks then also fit new pads.
3. If you replace somthing on one side, you must replace the other side as well.

Ignore them at your peril!

Hope that helps,
Richard.

He ordered new ones but the wrong ones arrived. He is looking for a simple TEMPORARY solution. Most members would agree with your point, a few have paid thousands of pounds for brake upgrades.

Looking forward to the KIWI/Scots Rugby battle.
