A story with pictures and video

I went back to Surrey Rolling Road again today to put it on the Dyno This was to see what the figures were like after getting the Headers done. (More pics Here and Here)

I got there a bit early so I took a little clip of the Sound of the exhaust also wanted to show everyone how small the boot is, even put a CD in so that people can judge size.

So, my car went on the Dyno and took a BIG VIDEO and a smaller version and another smaller one

And the result

Happy with the results, added 14.6BHP @ the wheels and lots more torque. For anyone interested the calculation of the flywheel BHP was 415.1 up 17.1BHP.

Not sure if this is consistent with others that have had the headers done but I am pleased enough.

Great set of before and after postings, and well done on the video/sound clips as well it does sound the dogs bits.
What we need now is a standard 6.0 VXR to be dynoed and we will have all numbers to compare the various stages off tune.

How is the ASBO coming on?

Yup, I was talking today about that, there must be someone out there with a standard 6.0 VXR who wants to dyno it. I Might even pay for it

Yeah, didn't get a print though, within probably 1-2bhp all the way along

Yeah, but you got 2 horses more than me

As for tunnels, I don't think there are any in the South East that I haven't done Even more people staring now!

Diff might be next and I also have plans in mind for forced induction but I'm waiting on some info before I commit to anything. Most likely do brakes and suspension at the same time

But cant do anything at the moment, I have to wait until insurance renewl as current insurers wont cover anything higher. Oh well, at least the money's earning interest in the bank.

Morning chaps,

I'm planning to have mine on the rollers in the next couple of weeks before I start "doing things" (Cat back n remap) so I'll post the results - It's a standard 6.0 with 5000 miles.

Keep it sideways, Holty

Excellent idea, he has my pre and post headers graph so shouldn't be difficult.
