I would start with a coil over suspension package and come back to the engine later.

In fact I may just do that soon..........

7 litre upgrade - then maybe a SC on top. New wheels (wider at the rear) and brakes, of course (big ones). Ah.. I can dream.

Yep 427 NA here smile No forced induction required. Should be an easy 600+ engine BHP.

just curious to how far these can go in a money no object world. and at what point would things get stupid?

I've fantasy tuned my Monaro, and it is perfectly driveable. The problem is, it goes so fast so quickly, and handles so well (for a big lump) that it leaves my driving skills behind as quickly as the 'opposition.' Frankly, if it weren't for a genuine interest in pushing the envelope, and macho posturing, I'd probably get more fun from a 1.6 Caterham.

money no object? Once adding better bushes I'd probably go for a mild cam to help with breathing and thats it. The car is great as it is and I'm off the idea of tuning now!

the most fun car I ever drove was an original 1 litre mini. I've got the bike for 'oh my God' thrills and the Monaro for bothering supercars!

I would like bigger rear tyres so wider rear arches. Maybe something like 345's at the back, how would that go off the line or handle - anyone any ideas if it could be done?

course it can be done with a big lump hammer, some flared arches but the diff - would it take it? Then theres the horrendous handling you will get as a result. You'll redefine tramlining and have the turn in of a massy ferguson.

Let me see, I would like the following:

Race Hydrogen Polymer Fuel Cell
Hitachi 'Le Mans' Supermotor - producing 2500nm torque
Electro-magnetic active suspension
Refridgerated Seats
Telmar-retarder technology electro-magnetic braking system.
GPS Autopilot
Government Speed Monitor Cloaking Device
WOM Module Wife Overide Module

Well you did say it was fantasy tuning wink

I wonder what technology brings in say, ten years scratchchin

Failing that I would happy with a Harryoz clone biggrin
