Gearbox / Clutch noise

Ok - looks like I got a courtesy car.
Phew.

The problem is not near any dealer - all over an hour away so it's a big deal not to get some form of transport.

Update: I picked up the car tonight and it appears all is well.
No problems found and all seems ok. I've been given a service bulletin for the VXR8 and it says that transmission noise can be heard on idle with clutch engaged and it's considered normal with no remedy action required.

The dealer did confirm that there is some noise on take off but they don't think it's a problem (and to be fair I wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't been looking for it after hearing the idle noise).

So fingers crossed and see what happens

The 5 speed gearbox from same OEM rattles on idle and when underneath horrible.That is why one UK manufacturer fitted insulation jackets around bellhousing to deaden the noise.
