Discussion
Just to let you know that Harry has confirmed that the Aus cars will be on the main showfield for the main day (Sunday), and presumably Saturday too. This is a change from what was posted before.
The cars will have an area at the back of the main field (near the trees) and alongside the Mopars. This is close to where we were last year.
While Harry said that he can provide me/us with pegs to peg out an area, it would be good if folk who are coming for the Sunday could get there early-ish. As he pointed out, the field fills from the marquee back, so if we blag our area early, we should be okay. And, it does fill up quick, and get pretty busy and congested on entry.
I am hoping that the marshalls will know that this is the arrangement, but, if anyone arrives separately or independantly, then tell the marshall that you are with the Aus cars at the back of the main show field, near the Mopars.
Looking forward to seeing a lot of you there.
It may be stating the obvious, but it is sometimes nice to have an A4 sheet or something similar with information about your car. I don't know if you HSV guys have headed paper or sheets, but with something like the Aus cars, some information could be helpful and of interest to the public.

Suggest we meet at the car park behind the Shell garge adjacent to the Hilton Hotel just off the roundabout fot the Southsea turn. Will bring the genny but I will have to leave it with you as I must depart Sat night as we have to go to a charity smart event for Macmillan Cancer Releif in Manchester the next morning.

I think it might be good to get on our way by 8.00am if that is OK with the rest of you.
"EH Rob" where do we pick you up from - Eastleigh airport junction maybe? at about 8.30am?

I hope some of you guys have a flagpole and some Australian flags. I seem to have misplaced the pole.
We should be there on Friday, sometime, it depends on how long it takes to rewire the old Dodge.
Best wishes for a safe trip for everyone, and see you there.
All the best
