Guys, I know I'm being insane picking a colour, my wife reminds me. But in my defence it's a decision I can only make once and I don't want to get it wrong and be stuck with a colour I don't love. It's not a cheap or easy thing to put right. There are lots of good colours, but for my car it's not enough to just be good.

Buzz, I bloody hope it'll be ready by then! I'm hoping for the end of the month really, but will have to see. So should be at Chatsworth anyway.
Luckily I have a uniform at work, so most of my wardrobe takes care of itself.
I can understand the time taken to decide on the car. As you said there are many fantastic colours, but you want your favourite one when having put so much effort into the car. I love effort of making the models for checking the colour, biggrin

Hi Guys,

new update, propmted by a thread on the tvrcc forum.

Colour was chosen a couple of weeks ago. I managed to view a couple of colours on real cars and the others I was able to paint onto the 1:10 scale models I turned out. It was actually a key step because most of the colours I was looking at were pearls with the odd metallic and Spectraflair in there. And none of those colours are just a colour, they are a colour that changes based on shape an viewing angle. As I've hardly seen any TVR's in real life, and when I did I wasn't paying keen attention to the colour, seeing the colour on the target shape brought clarity.

The car has been delayed a bit but I think it should be painted next week and re-assembled the week after so I hope to have it back in early Feb. Then I'll post some pics of the finished article and some of the new features like the LED rear lights, a new bonnet hinging system I will make that isn't a complete joke, and I've just bought a Parrot radio for single DIN GPS, Bluetooth phone/music, USB music, SD card music and a reversing camera too.

Looking forward to meeting up Alan, and eventually getting out there!

Further on from my TVRCC topic I think we all need to see it and I don't think we'll be disappointed though...

Haven't stated the colour yet. After all the fuss I thought I might drag it out until the car is finished, hopefully in 2 weeks.

How about white? Latest update pics today from Brendan. Hope he doesn't mind me posting....

What "badge" are you going to put on the boot then ???
It's a bit difficult to amalgamate Tamora and T350C biggrin

Can't wait to see this in the flesh - it's going to look amazing - will be one of the best looking convertibles out there !

Hi Mike,

not sure about the badge. For the front I want to use the TVR letters like off the older cars rather than the ford oval.

On the back I was thinking I would either use a TVR badge from the front, or as the T stands for Tamora anyway, and the car has been converted to 350, easy one would be T350c for convertible, or if I can get one made, T350s- s for spider.

You can definitely get badges made - Barry from TVR Ecosse can get pretty much anything made up with - metallic sticky-backed badge with domed poly/clear pvc finish to stick on the plinths you can get from Power & RG. See good quality. Also guy on here, LeeT350C I think, got excellent quality chromed metal badges made up a few years back... but one-off cost can be a bit expensive.

It's about time we got LeeT350C on the case again to get a batch of 'TVR', 'Sagaris', 'Tuscan', 'Tamora', 'T350C' badges made up... but we have to get a group buy going to make it work...

Tamora350s ?
Tam350s ?
T350s ?
T350 with 'Spider' in red italics behind/over the T350 ??

Hello racefans! It's been a very long journey but I finally got my car back from Brendan at Concept Performance (formerly Raceproved Bodyshop)who stayed on very late last night for me to get up to Sheffield and drive it home.
Still needs some detail work and a few bits and pieces to get it finished, but I'm going to do some driving first! Please forgive me for the first pics of it being dirty, but at the moment I'm driving it, not cleaning it! I will get more photo's when clean/the oportunity presents.

Very nice!! (although I personally preffered it in grey/primer wink )

Are you going to keep it, or is it going up for sale? Out of interest, how do you go about insuring something like this? Is it just down on the V5 as a Tamora, and you declare the Mods to an understanding insurer?

Agree, it did look good in light grey!

I plan to keep it for a long time. Would only sell it if I had too, or if someone made an offer too good to refuse, or if I hate driving it! This is my first TVR and I've only covered a couple of hundred miles so far, but I enjoyed them.

V5 says Tamora and Insurance company are aware of the body mods. (Mannings)

I need to sort the window alignment next, so I can drive and stay warm, and then a sports exhaust. Slightly dissapointed that it's only the 3rd best sounding car I've owned....
