I need to sort the window alignment next, so I can drive and stay warm, and then a sports exhaust. Slightly dissapointed that it's only the 3rd best sounding car I've owned....

clapWell done

Out of interest what where your top 2 sounding cars & i'm sure your opinion will change a little once you get a sports exhaust on it, are you taking the cats out?

Great job, looks good and works well. cool Hope to see it at Chatsworth if you're going.

One question, what do you plan to do for the exhaust area as it looks like it needs something, either the T350 cheese grater, or original Tamora style cover and diffuser?

Chris, my car is with Brendan in a month and when i was at his place last Monday he mentioned the LED rear lights he's developing.

When you get chance i'd be grateful if you could post photos of them in their various states of operation, ie indicator/brakes etc

I think the Tam version is still under development, but i'd still be interested in the overall affect they create.

Thanks
Bob

Thanks for all the nice comments!

Cramorra, It was a tough choice, HA very nearly won out, but it was a cage fight between it and Cham Green on a painted model of the car and I went with the colour which was brighter, therefore easier to keep cleen and swirl mark free. And probably because it's the only car I've ever had crazy enough to get away with that paint!

7 TVR, the best sound for me is an Alfa Romeo 2.5 V6 from the mid 80's http://youtu.be/SaZKeFRL3Vw and close second is an Aston 6.0 V12. I don't think any TVR can beat those two for me, but I'm sure it''ll sound nice with sports pipes.

Garreth, I'll be at Chatsworth, and I'll be installing the T350 cheese grater. It just doesn't currently fit on with the Tamora exhaust box I have. Need to sort out a T350 sports exhaust, or fabricate something. A big NO from me to the Tamora style diffuser and exhuast cover! That was my least favorite part of the Tam. I'll be selling those and other tamora left overs as soon as I get around to posting the add!

Bob, I don't have Brendans rear lights. I'd already bought some plastic LED's from SVC. I have seen pics of Brendans on another thread somewhere, I think posted by Alex Grey. Inner circle red, middle circle orange and outer circle red, with red being both tail and stop in an aluminium housing. I don't see why they wouldn't fit a Tamora though. All the TVR's from Tamora on use the same Hella rear lamps as far as I know. Unless it's about the colours?

Why? It's only half a job, and the best bit of the Tamora gone! smile

Here's a few more pics. Will wash it up and get some decent pics on the weekend!

The car looks great well done, but whare does the water from the boot lid drain to, If it rains the water looks like it goes between the boot lid and body , then where?.

Same as the tamora, or any other car. There's a gutter and drain pipes to the bottom of the car.

Well i like the rear of the Tamora ! it`s just that smily MX5 front i hate or i would have one in my garage right now ..

I prefer the hybrid rather than T350 front and rear ..Not sure about the T350 exhaust hanging out the back ,can it be chromed ..rolleyes

I disagree about the statement made , "the Tamora front end being the best part of the car" ! This is the main reason why the car is a flop !

The rear looks nice but the front end is very wrong ,it`s the reason why alot of people shied away from the Tam.
Bit of a design balls up eek

Weird thing is the rear is so different to any other car which is a good thing but the front is so much like dull modern mass produced sports cars ,the T350 front end just does it for me ..

Well Done - that looks gorgeous...
T350 Convertible - the car TVR should have made after the Tamora wasn't well received....

You'll need a heat shield around your new exhaust by the way !

Thanks Getsis, but I was going to use one of these. Trying to find the right font though. The 'T' isn't right.
