Tamora Ride Heights/Protech Settings

Had the Protechs dampers/springs on for 3 months and could do with a bit of advice.
There are 13 clicks on Protechs, now i don't track the car, but have found myself gradually setting the ride firmer week by week to the point where i only have 2 clicks available, even at this the ride still feels quite compliant, however driving through dips the car still hits the stops?????
With what is still a complaint ride could it be the ride heights.....could a fellow owner post their ride height measurements - top of wheel arch to the ground whilst parked on a level surface.
I realise spring rates could be the issue, but i'd like to rule out the ride height first.

Some of the noble guys were given wrong instructions for the damper adjustment on the protechs and were turning them towards soft instead of hard and somehow got them the wrong way round. Red is rebound, black is compression.... Just in case.

JoolzIf they'd been on your S, at 11 out of 13 and compliant, how close would they have been to coming off the car... Correctly valved, any where around 5-8 should be fine and compliant for the road?
Ask the supplier what the fitted spring rates are (likely to be different front and rear) and then you can work from there. Cranking up the damping could increase the incidence of bottoming if the rebound damping is slowing the rate of return of the shock /spring too much, eg the suspension could "jack down". Note I've no idea what is adjustable on the shocks mentioned and the adjuster may be doing the best part of bugger all and be there for a "fashion feature" .

I bought them direct from ProtechAre you suggesting that this product is not actually fit for purpose, as it requires modification before fitting.
Before it goes any further i'm not bemoaning the product just wanting a little assistance in tweaking them - this may change if i can't get them right, but for now they feel good, apart from 3 times in 3 months the car has hit the stops.
I'll post my ride heights later.

To measure (as I guess you have) to the wheel arches on a TVR is not reliable enough.
Take some measurements at the front corners of the outriggers and go from there...

Ride hieghts alone will not determine how easy or hard it will be for the car to reach the bumpstops. the most important factor in that is the spring rates then the ride hieght /preload applied to the spring. The last factor is damping as that controls the speed the shock moves in bump and rebound not so much how far it moves.
