Just got back from Dave's in Milton Keynes. Saw your Tamora, windscreen out but looking great, and certainly coming together.
I am going for a mostly black leather interior with similar door trims and charcoal carpet.
Seems a nice bloke too, bloody freezing drive up through cotswolds though, but pretty.
Now got to wait till January

Will be worth the wait! Wouldn't trust any but Dave with my trim work his attention to detail is greatI am going for a mostly black leather interior with similar door trims and charcoal carpet.

It is quite difficult when given a blank canvass so to speak, but hopefully my choices will look good.
Added a before photo, looks quite dated IMHO. Looking forward to a new feel steering wheel too and quality carpets. Just had nitrons put on, getting there slowly.

I agree - that finish looks so much smarter and upmarket than the quilting for the doorcards. I think Alcantara quilting on the seats would look good though.
Would it be terribly rude to ask for an approximate cost for this work?
The interior took me quite some time to decide on, and although I kind of like the idea of the quilted look, my OCD tendencies would go nuts if any of the stitching was less than straight. Would it be terribly rude to ask for an approximate cost for this work?
The other consideration is that when the car goes to be sold in the future, i am sure the quilting could well be offputting to any potential buyer, if they did not like the effect.
I kind of go with the fact that quilting is a Marmite option where those who choose to, love it, others maybe not so.
Also I like the minimalistic look, which I think the Alcantara and leather should give me.
Lastly, the "gold thing" on the door is actually silver in the centre of the speaker and will be staying, and the speaker pods were already attached to the car when I bought it.
I'm not keen on publicly stating costs on the forum, but if anyone is interested PM me and I can give the ball park figures.
One thing i would say about Dave, is that once he commits to a price, he sticks to it, the quality of the leather and the Alcantara is proper job, and the quality of the work I have seen from him so far, is spot on!
Can't wait to see the final results from mine.
Cheers
Allan

Thank you. It as now at that stage of one years ownership when you know's what with the car and am getting it just how I want it.
It has just had its big service at Neil Garners and told him to do all what was needed.
There is another topic about reliablity at the mo and I believe you need to keep on top of things, so to speak. However my garage is looking sad without a TVR in it. Roll on January.

Soon you will be getting as bad as Simon and me. It has just had its big service at Neil Garners and told him to do all what was needed.

Tracked down a supplier for the curved pedals and ordered two for my Sag as they are fairly simple to fit to existing T cars.
Apparently, you can have a third for the accelerator, but highly discouraged as it makes driving more tricky...

Hi mate.
Yes and no.
Yes, a prototype has been done. It needs to be tested (when I have a car available to do that) and get my hands on the prototype.
No, I don't have a price yet as it depends on numbers ordered and if the prototype works ok.
Tbh - I've had other fish to fry, so it's way down the priority list currently. I have a number of other more involved projects
to focus on first. I'll get around to it, but not immediately.

Let me know how you get on though, certainly no rush from this side.

Is it possible to get as bad as you Alex;) I am beginning to think you have sold the Sag really and just don't want to admit to it
Yes, I must admit, it is difficult to get as bad as me. It can be done, but only after many years of experience and a big garden in which to hide the evidence...Gassing Station | Tamora, T350 & Sagaris | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
