To correct you Smarty....
It's Crick where Multipart stored unfinished cars in 2007 and a Senior manager from Multipart told me they sold them on , to recover debts owed.
Very few unfinished cars were customer cars (a few exceptions reported by PH'ers like Funky and Micky, and one of those became the Sag II), most were TVR stock or Demo cars for dealers, I have the customer order spec sheets which prove it.If TVR had got customer orders they might still be in business...that was one problem.
Ciceley did get a number of completed cars and a friend of mine has one.They came without the TVR documentation required for taxing and it took a number of months to get the V5Cs sorted.
So stop spouting , you're just bitter and twisted.... and you had left TVR before the Summer of 2006.

Not often I agree with you Keith but someone else needs to get their facts straight.With regards to cars at Cicley I'm talking about the cars finished BEFORE the factory closed if you read what I posted properly.
Also with regards to the legal situation regarding liquidations, once a company has gone into liquidation and has been bought from the liquidator/receiver the debts stay with the original company so the new (same in this case) owners no longer have responsibility/liability for that debt. So any stock or WIP that they purchase/acquire as part of the deal is theirs to dispose of as they wish.
Not necessarily a situation that is morally acceptable, depending how you view it, but completely legal.

So if you think my 443bhp 4 litre engine that cost £15k is from this same place. That puts a brand new Sagaris at £61k. Not a bad price if you ask me.

I've read it now since you took the trouble to post it here for my convenience, thank you for that BTW.
I still think it's too much of an asking IMO, because you are as good as buying a kit car as far as back up is concerned. If it was kit car money it might be more appealing but as it is, I'd rather get a nice Fezza at that dosh.
I love TVR BTW, if they still made the Griff, I'd be on my third now.

So if you take out the engine cost from the asking price, you get £61k
But then, you don't have an engine - so that's £61k for a brand new Sagaris that doesn't have an engine in it, right?
It's all irrelevant anyway, because it's being sold for £76k without the choice of an engine. For a brand new Sagaris that may or may not be a good price, I don't know - I certainly wouldn't pay it but if you weren't so fussed about losing money on it then it's certainly a unique opportunity.
On a side note I'm surprised they painted it but left the interior out - I'd have thought you'd do both or neither.

Sorry, it's probably me being vague. The FFF engine that will be going in is worth about £15k, if mine is anything to go by (unsure of the spec they are offering). As you say, irrelevant musings as the full cost of £76k, but interesting (to me at least), if broken down (poor choice of words).
