Tamora or Cerb
Discussion
Hi Flasher - still surprised you think your Tamora brakes are far better than any other TVR... you had a 4.2 Cerbera before? The Red rose tuscan has the 4.5 brakes which are apparently considerably better.
Anyway, I shall endeavour to have a Tamora test drive to see what it's all about! My Cerbera is much improved though (see my profile), so perhaps I'm forgetting what the standard ones are like.

Interesting that in this moths Evo, the Tamora came 2nd from last out of 15 cars around Bedford Autodrome. Some of the cars that beat it, I have seen Cerberas beat quite easily, I guess the Autodrome must be tight and twisty.
Looks like I need to get a test drive in a Tamora to get a first hand look.

I would ignore the which cars beat what - it all depends on the driver. Flasher - I wasn't implying that my driving was better (I doubt it is!), I'm just genuinely interested in the difference between the cars.
Why would the Tamora have the Tuscan Red Rose/S brakes when it's cheaper than the standard Tuscan!?

Yeah it did and to everyones surprise... I wish they had borrowed mine because I murdered an elise at Donnington last week.. my guess is that they just had a bad car that day. All the guys at Evo were suprised how different that car was from the the original one they drove.
If you ever want a go in mine you are more than welcome...
remember, I owned a Cerbera and I'm telling you for sure that the Tamora is several seconds a lap quicker. To the best of my knowledge the brakes are the same as a Tuscan but remember the Tamora is lighter and has a very different suspension set up to the Tuscan.....

Also notice that the Tuscan owners appear to be less chatty/enthusiastic (looking at the activity on the Cerb and Tamora forums), suspect there's more concern over form than function....not than you can own any TVR without a sizeable dose of vanity.
Most of the Tuscan discussion went on / still goes on the egroup. Seemed to go through the evolution of great car enthusiasm / great handling / better than xyz TVR / somethings fixed in later cars that could be upgraded in older cars / how do you get a louder exhaust etc.
There is definitely not a form over function concern, but if you want to justify to yourself the way the Tamora looks to yourself that's fine....
