New 'performance' CF airbox from ACT?
Discussion
Just noticed a new product on the ACT website:
http://www.actproducts.co.uk/product/cfab06s-perfo...
"Carbon fibre TVR speed six air-box , with fluero lined/ fuel resistant silicone induction hoses"
Anyone tried one of these?

Don't think it is as attractive as all Carbon Fibre in my opinion. However, I may be biased
It might not look as attractive, but the silicone runners onto the throttle bodies should result in smoother air flow into the throttle body mouths, and none of that flow spilling out down the sides of the body mouth. Installed mine on the sofa as soon as I got it. Fastest sofa in the southeast

Just an observation, but it looks the same as mine
Did you find any noticeable difference between yours and the standard?(Not that I want one, of course...)

I assume it would be worth having a remap at the same time the new box is installed, to get the most out of it (if there is indeed anything extra to be had).
From all that I have read on here, it seems that different 'new and improved' air boxes just change slightly where the power curve is - some favour a stronger top end and others more torque lower down, but never by much, such is the good design of the original (which is already massive compared to most other air boxes..)
