Beautiful congrats. I bought my T350 from them recently and echo your sentiments about how great they are to deal with.

Did you actually manage to get it up to temp then on the way home. I've only been out in mine a few times since collection in January and with outside temps struggling to get into double digits I haven't been able to keep my oil temp up above 60mph to be able to extend the revs. It seems to sit at 4-45 degrees on the motorway. I am hoping for warmer weather soon so I can hear what that wonderful S6 sounds like in the upper range.

Again, wonderful purchase, you must be thrilled!
Once you are on the move and have been driving for a while (15-20 mins) and you still have a low reading with oil temp it is probably the sensor being majorly cooled by the air going over as the sensor is quite exposed. But if you stop and the temp quickly goes to 65c + then you are up to temp. Once you drive the car a bit more you can also tell when the engine is up to temp. Mine starts to pop and bang a lot more once it is at its sweet spot!

I remember one time on the way back from france, we hit the uk and the outside temp was quite cold and car was fully up to temp when at standstill (which was alot as we were welcomed with horrific traffic!) but once on the move the oil temp was being reported as 40-45c

This. When I picked mine up from Str8six in January i raised this with Chas there (it was 1 degree at the time) and he said that once it's up to temp it's fine. By the time I got to Oxford, in traffic the temp was always up to 60+ so fine to stretch the legs a little despite the temp only showing 40ish once on the move. I resisted temptation to rev the nuts off it but could get up to decent motorway speeds without worry.
