I heard a story that TVR's Tamora press car has been crashed during the filming of footballers wives.
I guess that's the yellow one, wonder if they are going to change the colour again?
Anyone else heard anything about this?

To whom it may concern

I am the vehicle co-ordinator on the production of Footballers Wives.
We don't have a yellow Tamora on the show, we have a red one, and no we have never had one smashed up. I would however be interested in knowing where you got your false information from.

Or does this rumour stem from the fact that the previous yellow press car was changed to red and that one had it's engine lunched recently Maybe it's the same car you've used/abused in the programme, assuming that it was the press car on loan to you?
I read on a previous post that a green one is now the stand in press car, so maybe your story line on the next series will have to think of a good plot for the change of colour.
Maybe she could wake up in the shower, having always owned a green one

I'm just a little miffed that once this new series comes out, the car I drive is going to be associated with such tat.

Give the guy a break. He's merely quashing a rumour, there's no need to suggest he's abusing any cars anywhere. Particularly as that's his business - think before you malign someone...

Didn't one of the footballers have a Tuscan in the first series?

Ted didn't mean to malign anyone just an unfortunate turn of phrase.

the first series feature a swordfish spec Tuscan which was identical to mine and was driven by Chardonnays 12 year old boy friend.

I believe this car was crashed (is this true Ben?)

didn't bother me that 'my' car was in the show (but then I think I became a bit obsessed with it, I watched every episode

Sounds like an interesting job........do they really employ a dedicated person to "co-ordinate" cars ???

Thats showbiz I guess !

What exactly does this entail???
Let me think,.... car co-ordination.....

"You'd look better in the Audi TT dear....."
"No Maserati just isn't your marque, get into the TVR "

I'm honestly interested !
