My story and first posting.
Picked up my new Tamora on Monday this week - my first journey on Tuesday got stuck in a Traffic Jam - Engine overheated - warning, oil pressure warning, gutted!Water leaking from under car- Car going back to TMS on Friday. Not happy - I expected some little niggles but not a total breakdown - I hope they resolve the overheating problem - Reading 118c- Any sugestions on overcoming overheating in traffic jams? Is it because it is running in? Will let you know how I get on.

Think you have just been unlucky. I haven't heard of this and mine has sat in severely heavy traffic at Le Mans this year and been fine. I'm sure it's probably an electric problem linked to the fans.... good luck I'm sure it will be fine.

Before mine was in for the upteenth rebuild, I was stuck in traffic, got to 101 degrees and then warning came on for water sensor, moved on and all was well, never had an unfortunate incident as yours. Fingers crossed you'll be back on the road soon.

Mine gets very hot in traffic, and I have had the warning come on at 105oC. When I did a track day at Donington in MAy, it was a really hot day, and I took the front number plate off. It made a big difference, so air flow is obviously an issue. Flasher has the right idea with his miniature front plate - I need to get one. Been stopped for it yet, flash?
