Afternoon.

Before I break something, can any one explain how to remove the retractable luggage cover in a Sag / T350.

There are 4 nuts underneath the car accessed from the wheel well you need to undo before it can be removed. You'll need a ratchet wrench as it is too tight for a socket on at least 1 of the nuts and removing the wheels will make it a lot easier (at least with SP12 wheels might be fine with spiders).

Careful you don't shear the stud bolt as they will most likely be rusted on.

I can get a photo of them if you can't find where they are.

Be careful undoing or tightening the screws as you could otherwise break the nuts out of the cover.

I only removed mine once and immediately removed the nuts from the cover, placed pop rivet nuts into the boot floor and re-attached it using screws from inside the boot. Now it's an easy removal without having to lift the car...
