Any idea where I can get hold of new quarterlights? I've looked on TVR-parts and they have plane clear ones https://tvr-parts.com/tvr-parts/part-details/tvr-u... but mine have a black band/tape around which is coming away and starting to look a bit st (worse on the other side!)

I had mine done recently (by TVR101) and my understanding is they only come as all-clear, and like the headlight covers, the black edge is painted on the inside before installation.
Sorry if that's not the answer you wanted, but hopefully it's of use...

Thanks for that. I'll have a chat with Neil Garner and find out. The Sagaris version comes with the black surround so I assumed that it was the same for the T350.

I figure it's about time I tidied it up a bit as it's been a bit neglected on the cosmetic front over the summer!

thumbup Just seen you're in Bristol too (after your Neil Garner comment). You on the FB owners group? Going to the NG open day at the end of the month?

Yep, Bristol based. Are you local? I'm planning on getting to the NG open day. It'll be nice to go with my own TVR this time rather than gazing longingly at other peoples' this time biggrin

Hopefully see you there.

I'm in Bristol as well & going up to the NG open day. I think you can only get them in clear for the T350 now. When you get them re-done get them to paint them on the outside. You cant tell the difference when done but it stops the issue you are having from coming back

Yes, it would appear to be your old car! I bought it in Bournemouth in 2015, I presume from the owner after you. Thanks for the heads up about the quarterlights.

I'll be heading up at NG on the 30th but it looks like I might have to give it a bit of clean now before I go laugh

I would personally get them sprayed on the inside. The majority of them are fine and if it's on the outside it could wear off and you do see a minor lip. I had the same on my light lenses and got them redone on the inside. Personal choice of course.

Wear off? I guess it might if you like driving in a sandstorm....

You have more chance of wear on the outside than the inside! Can't see the point of doing it on the outside.
