Morning all,
Despite being on accumate , insufficient charge to turn over ,so taking old one out.
I’ve got the “bible” but a daft question when trying to take off the single battery clamp - it won’t budge !
Is the nut on top side welded to the clamp as trying top and bottom and clamp is simply twisting against battery..Off to find some WD 40 in meantime..
Ta.

clamp should come out by undoing the bolt from under the car.

The clamps rust up pretty quickly. Stainless versions are available but pretty easy to make up - a bent bit of plate and nut plus a bolt and locking washer.
