T350 pedal box removal.

I have a set of the curved pedals which i am hopefully going to fit asap. My question is this, is it possible to remove the pedal box without also removing the clutch and brake master cylinders? .Obviously they would need unbolted from the pedal box and left in situ.

My logic is mainly to avoid having to bleed both systems after refitting.

Any advice welcome.

Although, you will have to go hunting through them as I cannot remember which one it would be in

You could unbolt the servo and brake master complete from the pedal box as it is only four nuts . The clutch master is tricky because the bolts are not captive but can be undone . Probably the easiet way to do the job though.

RFC1, how hard was it to get out and leave the servo's in place?
I've got a sticker throttle pedal so want to change the main pedal bolt to Stainless Steel to prevent it rusting again

The main shaft is alloy but the smaller rocker shaft is prone to bending, which doesn't help.

I did mine a few months ago and replaced the small corroded bar with a stainless one from Racetech Direct. They also do a full refurb kit with all new bushes if you need. Lovely and smooth now.
It's not really too difficult but a bit frustrating due to difficult access. Just make sure you've got ratchet spanners and sockets/deep sockets and socket extension bars and you should be ok. Be careful to not wrench the clutch or brake pipes about too much.

What did you use to lubricate the shafts and nylon bearings?

Just rebuilding mine at the moment and not sure to leave them dry or grease.

Personally I'd leave them dry. I can't see any need for grease on them as they are plastic bushed, stainless and not rotating much. And any grease is just going to attract the dust and grit causing a bigger problem down the line. A bit of white lithium grease or similar would presumably do if you wanted something.
