Are there any TVR manufactured windscreens available anymore?

My original 2004 windscreen is badly delaminated but I don't want some Autoglass generic replacement.

It took 6 weeks for National w/s to agree to buy a proper one for my Cerbera from TVR Parts. I mention this because they do not even list a windscreen for a Tamora. frown So an aftermarket part may be the only option.

They have one for a T350 Mk2 if that helps?

Thanks - I'll email them to enquire about Tamora windscreens.

I'm anticipating a fight with my insurance company and Autoglass (their supplier and fitter).

Is a delaminated windscreen covered in your insurance?

Think you will find Autoglass buy their TVR windscreens from TVR Parts Ltd.

Mine was badly, and had several small chips. It somehow (ahem...) got a bad chip that had cracked the glass...……..

Got my Tamora screen changed at Autoglass. Don't know if it is TVR 'stamped'. Not too bothered as long as the kitemark is there.

Next time around I'll be going heated screen.

On my previous Chimaera, a 'shatterprufe' windscreen (South African I believe, and from what template?) was fitted in 2018, and I couldn't get the roof back on. They had to do the job again, this using a 'TVR' screen from TVR Parts.

Aren't they all Saint Gobain or Pilkington made anyway? Surely TVR never manufactured windscreens, they just had them etched by whoever did make them?

This is what I have now (including delaminated section).

TVR Parts say that they have original TVR screens so I'm just waiting to confirm that they supply Autoglass and still get the same logo added by the manufacturer.

My Tamora replacement screen came from TVR Parts a couple of years back. It has a TVR logo and was made by St Gobain Sekurit.
Seemed very strange having a very clear and clean windscreen to begin with even though the original one wasn't noticeably marked.

My insurance company, LV, eventually agreed that I could use Glasstec, to fit a genuine TVR Parts windscreen to my Sag. Found them on this forum, and they did an excellent job.

Thank you, Chris and a fine-looking car you have (if you still have it?).

Smashing - will do.

I'll need to talk to my insurance company first to confirm that they will let me tell them to use your service.

I'll need new seals as well as the screen - presumably that comes as part of the new replacement screen parts.
