Sagaris on Collecting Cars next week

sorry to hear of your problems CC very frustrating and annoying but buying and or selling can be all those things if parties aren't playing fair and sometimes genuine problems do arise.
As has been mentioned above perhaps one of the specialists would be a route to investigate? As you may have seen I'm just starting my Sagaris adventure while you finish yours and I've dealt with Str8six right from when they first started. On the day I picked mine (last Tuesday) there were 5 in their relatively small yard (so much for rarity eh ) so they know them pretty well?
Good luck anyway as someone else has said maybe you're not meant to sell it yet?
Final question do they all have an "attention, this vehicle is reversing" type of indicator noise? It's bloody awful
I see they have sold all the Sagaris they had in stock as well so are presumably looking for stock! As has been mentioned above perhaps one of the specialists would be a route to investigate? Lol! Are you saying you Sag has a reversing Beep! (if so absoultely not).....then again mine is De'Catted so it could have a revesing loud hailer and I wouldn't hear it
..........and anyway the reversing light switch is bound to work its way loose at some point and then problem solved (when it does you need to remove the centre console and access the switch that way to toghten it back up)

Funny you should mention that. Of all the cars I have ever driven, the indicator noise on my Sag is by far the worse. If you find out how to change it, please let me know.Stever said:

If you mean the beep-beep-beep inside the cockpit when the indicators are on, then yes they all do that. All of the T-cars, as far as I know, as they all share the same instrument cluster. You get used to it. s3dave said:

You would need to physically change the beeper. Edited by Clockwork Cupcake on Wednesday 12th May 15:19

I posted last night and then deleted my post because Cupcake seemed to give the dealer the benefit of the doubt.
IMO, the dealer will have told Counting Cars, he didn't buy the car because of some fault with Cupcake's XYZ, so he will have not paid, or will have been refunded the Buyer's Fee. In addition if you buy regularly from auctions as a dealer, you do get a discount on the fees you paid.
Then I am guessing that because of the time difference between the auction ending and the dealer telling Cupcake he could not proceed, the dealer has spent this trying to flip the car to one of his customers/TVR trade buyer for a quick profit. So in effect he's using auction sites as free stocking of the vehicle (although not physical), and has had 20 odd days to try and sell it.
But I don't know the full story and maybe I am being too cynical? I don't like auction sites like this, as I think they are actually driving prices down.
Really? A Chimaera went for a frankly bonkers price on Trade Classics recently. Yes, low mileage (40k) but over £19k for a 4 litre ??IMO, the dealer will have told Counting Cars, he didn't buy the car because of some fault with Cupcake's XYZ, so he will have not paid, or will have been refunded the Buyer's Fee. At a dealer with a warranty, perhaps but it's an auction!
If I remember the questions correctly, it had the outrigger replaced on one side only.....

yes the indicator noise what a horrible racket it's like an Armageddon klaxon.
As PuffsBack mentioned, it apparently has a volume control. (I suspect I turned mine down to minimum years ago and then forgot that the setting even exists. And I can't be arsed to go out to the garage to check)

Sorry to hear this. Hopefully the exposure this has gained means an enthusiast steps up to buy this. I thought it was quite a bargain for the spec.
Thanks. Not sure what I am going to do right now. I may keep it for the time being, let the fuss die down, and try again next year.

At least it's a good time of year to sell and there is a strong demand for Sags which is all in your favour
