Thanks Mike - same as the Tamora then.

I drove one last week at Heathfield and I must
say that I was blown away - bloody fantastic drivers car. So much better than the Griff / Chimp & Cerbera
and about 2 miles in front of the Tuscan.

The only thing missing was an anti squeel device
for the passenger seat - although on this occasion
I had the entire 40 min test drive alone.

Your new car will be a blinder - no doubt about that at all.

I was very tempted with a Tamora but will be picking
up my 'previously enjoyed' TVR this weekend..hopefully.

As you probably know - it's a 450 SEAC.

Performance is similar to the Tamora, maybe a bit slower... but definately on par with a Griff 500.

37.5K with 18" wheels, but deals to be had!

Can you elaborate?

Matt.

Guys, I would also be very interested in what deals are being done. Flasher, can you e-mail me offline, and anyone else, and let me know?

Hi alan

Its really odd, but have never driven the tamora, and never expected to be buying a new Tamora or T350, just simply got blown away by the T350c when i set eyes on it.

I will get my hands on a tamora in the next week or so, but just know that i will love it, given its reputation as a drivers car.

Good luck with the seac, is it the BRG one you saw the other week?

Hi Matt

Just that i got a good price for mine in p/x and IMHO the car is already keenly priced, taking the wheels into consideration comes out the same as standard Tamora.

Hi Mike,

Drive the Tamora .. is really is excellent - it is miles ahead of the Griff etc..

I had 40 mins with out a co- pilot and it was excellent
but a tough decision on what to buy. I will explain
on Thursday why I decided on the older machine...

I don't pick it up until Saturday though..

Both are very special and I also love the looks of
the 350c - it needs a name though..

I would not be going for the Rosso Red paintjob as closer inspection of the Tuscan R/440T bonnet on the TVR stand will show the paint job as a bit of a dogs breakfast.

The brother is very tempted with the T350c, and is getting a quote from his dealer with regard to chopping in his Tuscan. Have to say I'll be disappointed, as I'm too much of a fat bast
to fit into a T350c, while the Tuscan fits me just fine.

Didn't notice that on the T440R, but interestingly, I did notice a really poor paint job on one of the Peugeot 206 GTi 180's - the one on the right as you look at the stand. If you look down the nearside wing, you'll see several dark blotches in the blue metallic finish.

If I was in the market for a used coupe (Cerbera or T350C) I wouldn't consider it without AC AND full hide. I guess the lamonta stuff might be different but the leatherette approach is terrible. Full leather raises the whole ambience of the car. None of the TVRs I've owned have had anything less!

I have to agree.
Once you had had a car with full hide, you will always want it. It does make the cabin feel very special.
I have choosen this over Air-con, but am now trying to juggle the figures so that I have AC as well as the Full Hide. As you say, I think that this will also help later on down the road, when the time comes to sell it.
Still carn't hit on a colour combination as yet

Are you talking about the bison or the old vinyl stuff? I've got no problems at all with the bison in my Tamora. For me the leather wasn't worth the extra money. Having said that if money was no object then I'd have had the full-hide!
