How about the metallic anthracite type paint job of the 2nd NEC show T440?
I personaly think the car needs a lighter colour to do the shape justice - a wild one at that, but it might affect the resale?

Mercedes Obsidian (spelling ?) black or reflex charcoal with black interior highlighted with one of the dark greens (can't remember the correct names)with the matching green carpet on the floor and black carpets in the back.

you get better light quality in Germany, which would pick out the reflex beautifully

...even though black is a shit to keep clean

Christof - I know you've sunk into that German weather that resembles the UK at the moment (ie relentless grey....new TVR colour ) - but as it gets colder, your skies clear and you get fabulous light clarity (whereas we continue in drabness)

.....anyway, something about you being central in a land-mass rather than a rock stuck in the middle of the North Atlantic drift.

Guys and girls,

just tried to find a proper colour combo on my T...C

1. Black with buttermilk bison, black stitching and black carpets and 19" polished alloys

2. Pearl white with blue bison, white stitching and blue carpets with a blue stripe on the body shell like the GTS Viper, also 19" alloys

3. Silver with blue bison, silver stitching and grey carpets with a blue stripe on the body shell, 19" alloys

4. GTS blue with blue and grey bison, grey stitching and blue or grey carpets, silver stripe , 19" alloy (very similar to the GTS Viper)

5. ORANGE with black and grey bison, grey stitching, black carpets, black stripe, 19" anthrazite alloys

Idea is to get a little bit of 60ties design, like the early Griffiths.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK????

LOOK???

RESALE VALUE???

TO GIRLIE???

Christof*going crazy*

I'D STAY AWAY FROM BISON & GO FOR VYNAL OR IF U CAN PUSH UR BUDGET LEATHER . BISON MAKES THE CAR LOOK CHEAP !

On what do you base that!
I'm perfectly happy with the bison and so are a few other owners I know with bison.
Far better that the vinyl that TVR use to use in my eyes!

PS. your caps lock is on! It's on the left of your keyboard!

plotloss said: Christof,

I am in almost exactly the same position regards colours.

On the shortlist:

Spectraflair Silver (Motorshow colour)
Purple - The one the original Tuscan R was in
Cascade Copper - Looks amazing on the colour card
Reflex Charcoal - Someone had a Tuscan S in this at BTaP and it looks amazing
Crystal Topaz - Because it just looks so nice on JeremyC's Cerbera

As for interiors well the top four would be black bison, black lamonta rooflining, seat faces and door inserts with silver highlights and silver seat backs and the bottom one would be magnolia (or a derivative of) with blue inserts and blue lamonta roof and door cards.

Speccing a new TVR is just far too complex!

Matt.

Just Specc'd our T350T in Reflex Charcoal with an interior mix of dark greens and greys (ambla and bison). Bear in mind the large expanse of carpet in the rear.....choose too dark a colour and the whole interior will be too dark...

And bison doesn't make the car look cheap - use it as a contrast and a roof lining and I think you'll appreciate what it can do !!
As for full leather, well that's one option you never get any money back on.
