First cars off the production line fully completed 2nd week of December.

So Februarys Evo will probably have a road test in it.

I've got someone working on it and we hope to have one in the not-to-distant too.

There's a bit of a review in Auto Express, not read it all just flicked through it in Smiths, the front number plate doesn't look pretty,

Oh joy!

Did you notice how they did it in the end. I was told a few options were on the table including a recess.

They havent just stuck a plate on the front have they?

Matt.

I just bought the Auto Express and read the article
and it's is a typical rush job - no actual driving
review of the new car - although at least the photo's
are not all static.. but it does give an interesting
insight into home the car came into being.

In a word YES just below the TVR badge and dead square, and I think 'stuck' is the right word as I couldn't see any bolts

I wonder if thats the way its going to stay or if its just to put it on the road. If its the former I am less than impressed after the 'talking up' of the design.

Matt.

Yep, there's definitely no bolts holding the front plate on!
There's some interesting quotes in the article from Pete Wheeler:-

"We took a Tamora and made aerodynamic improvements so it's purely by luck it looks so pretty."

"We couldn't think of what to call it. Our expert in Greek mythology isn't working as well as he used to, so it got numbers instead."

"There is scope for more power. But only if customers ask for it. They rule what we do here."

"It may be too cheap actually...."

I suspect that the car featured in Auto express is the Motor Show Car road registered. The answers to the number plate, fuel cap, rear window opener & element are still unanswered

by the way for those who don't know; you can read the article online www.autoexpress.co.uk

Accepting that the number plate looks real so the car is registered, the in-motion pictures look like PC generated images to me, after all there would appear to be no one actually driving it! Rich...
