Andrew, I'm with you on this one. I drove HHC's demo car today, and it has some subtle dynamic improvements over the Tamora, notably the steering rack and turning circle, more fluidity to the damper responses, and the S6 seems to have had an overhaul on the valve gear - much quieter and smoother. The gear linkage has also been improved. The downside is the lack of head room - at 6'2", when I sat in the driver's seat, even Nicky fromm HHC noticed I was pressed against the roof. A first for TVR! The interior space is tight, with seats pressing against the rollcage, and overal a more compressed feeling to the interior. Must be just because it has a heard roof.

However, if the Targa has panels which lift our from front to rear roll bars, the effect will be almost as good as a proper soft top.

I spoke with Damien McTaggart the other day, and he says they had trouble getting a soft top T350 to look right, especially at the back. The Targa is 6 months away i.e. expcect it to appear at the next Motor Show, and they may be years, rather than months, from a full rag top. But you never can tell with TVR, but I reckon that the Tamora may well become one of the shorter-lived production runs in TVR history!

Nubbin, can't say I noticed many of the dynamic improvements when I drove Walldonway's Demo car in Jan as I was the first person to drive it and the roads were covered in snow! I was just fortunate to get a drive.
I did notice that the seats were higher and more padded than my Tamora but I think this is also the case for the current Tamoras and not just the T350s. Maybe you could have a lower seat with less padding if cabin space is a problem?
Got my Tamora back from the factory yesterday. The new transmisson casing looks much better with the alloy handbrake surround. They've also done the full seat belt mod, added more door seals and wait for it, added kick plates!
Cheers..... Andrew

If TVR made that car (Roofless T350) I would happily swap for my Tuscan. There I've said it now!

Agreed, that looks so much than the current Tamora shape. I'm sure it would become as successful as the Chimp at least if it were to go into production looking like this. Please take note Monsieurs Taggart & Wheeler.....

Bit confused by the people saying they would want a soft top version.
Umm, I think you'll find it already exists, it's called the Tamora...

Surely you don't think there should be a seperate model simply with a nose job?

Think people are inferring it would replace the Tamora (Tamora facelifted to look like T350).

not too unrealistic, some dealerships I've been to have mentioned their concern at the Tams lacklustre sales figures. A rebodied car with the tail and nose of a T350c would sell like toasty taters IMO of course
